Passed OET With Few days of Preparation

I got the required scores in OET with only a few days of preparation, so I wanted to share my experience to motivate others who might be stressed about this exam.
Honestly, the actual OET exam felt very similar to the official sample tests on the OET website. If you practice those seriously, you’ll already have a good idea of the real exam pattern and difficulty level.
My preparation was simple:
I used to do 1 full mock test per day
I wrote only around 7 letters for Writing practice
For Speaking and general tips, I watched E2 Language videos on YouTube
That’s pretty much it.
A lot of people overthink OET, especially IMGs, but in my opinion consistency matters more than studying for months. Focus on understanding the exam format, practice under timed conditions, and work on your weak areas.
For Writing:
Learn the proper structure
Keep your language simple and professional
Understand what information is relevant
For Speaking:
Be natural and empathetic
Don’t try to sound “too advanced”
For Reading & Listening:
Daily practice and time management help a lot.
If English is not your first language, don’t panic. The exam is very doable with focused preparation.
