I have nearly all the electronics parts for a 16" inch drone. However I'm missing a frame, but I'm a lil too cheap to buy a 16" kit from AliExpress.

Would it be possible to build a reinforced version of a standard x frame out of PVC pipes? (please consult my high quality drawing above.)

I understand that PVC would have to be rather thick not to bend, but I don't image it would be that detrimental to the flight performance. + I'm not really looking for a top performing drone.

My question is this, has anyone ever attempted something like this? I could only find little 7-10inch drones made from PVC nothing this big?

Is there anything I have failed to consider?
