Survey Statistics Help

TL;DR: Need to connect with statistician who knows a lot about surveys that is willing to help (unpaid) with a research project

Hi all - So I've been doing a research project that involves classroom design on student performance. The data is student grades and survey results from before and after the semester. I really want to open this up to more classrooms and to make this a serious project with the intent of publishing. Right now, I can only do very basic statistics because I don't really understand how to appropriately do stats on a survey. I would especially like to be able to make statements like 'If a student with ___ demographics receives treatment 1, they are more likely to select answer 2.'
I know there is a stats consulting center, but they cost $$, and this is all on my own free time and I have no funding.
I am hoping for a professor or grad student who would be interested in helping with the statistical analysis of this project. I'm decent with stats, so I think if you could help with setting up the code, then I would be fine after that. However, if you are interested in being more involved with the analysis then I would be happy to include you as an author if we are ever able to publish. Thanks all!

Hey all. I just heard of a lab in my department that has told their grad students they will have to work this summer without pay, and that when the lab gets funding this fall they will back pay summer hours.

Please, if this is you, visit HR or the Ombudsperson. It can stay anonymous. Not only is this against MSU policy, its against the law here in the U.S. Lying about your hours, even if your PI or boss tells you to, is illegal. If you are too afraid to speak out yourself, feel free to PM me your PI and I will ask HR to check into it.

Go green. 💚🤍
