Question about 60k mile service

My 2021 WRX Limited is only at 34k miles but enough time has passed that it should probably get the 60k mile service. Dealership quoted me $1,500 which ik is bs. I’m thinking about trying to take it to a good mechanic instead but I don’t know how to find a GOOD mechanic (trustworthy). I guess I’m wondering what to look for. I live in Detroit if that’s helpful. No, I don’t want to do the maintenance myself. I don’t have tools or a garage or the time. Thanks in advance.

I get to meet Kirk, Riker, and Data tomorrow

Title is a bit of an exaggeration but basically I’m working AV for the panels at Motor City Comic Con and tomorrow I get to run audio for William Shatner and then 15 minutes later I get to run audio for Johnathan Frakes and Brent Spiner. I won’t actually get to talk to them unless they talk to me for some reason but it’s still so cool to have the responsibility of making sure their panels go smoothly. When our crew was setting up all the rooms I took extra care to make sure everything was perfect for these legends. None of my friends are Star Trek fans like me so I just had to brag to someone who actually cares.

My STO Ships & Lore

U.S.S. Globetrotter NCC-88002

  1. (Sojourner/Odyssey Class Kitbash)

The Globetrotter was a one-off prototype created during the development of the Odyssey Class. Its performance was close enough to the Odyssey that it was commissioned into full service.

  1. U.S.S. Superior NCC-73905-A
    (Sovereign/Noble Class Kitbash)

Named after the great lake, the original U.S.S. Superior was a Sovereign Class that was damaged beyond repair while holding off a Dominion battlegroup, saving several important cargo ships during the Dominion War. It became a symbol of defiance during some of the worst months of the conflict and because of its hero status and mostly intact saucer section, it was eventually rebuilt with components from the new Noble Class project.

  1. U.S.S. Narendra NCC-90520-A
    (Guardian Class)

After the original U.S.S. Narendra was destroyed during a battle with the Iconians, Starfleet Command decided one of the new Guardian Class cruisers would take her name as part of an effort to boost morale.

  1. U.S.S. Michigan NCC-71301
    (Galaxy Class Refit)

The Michigan was one of only a handful of Galaxy Class starships to receive an experimental refit during the Dominion War. Its iconic blue hull plating is the result of it being infused with trellium-f, a new form of trellium developed by Starfleet that was slightly resistant to polaron-based weapons. Ultimately, trellium-f’s effectiveness wasn’t enough to justify how expensive it was to produce.

  1. U.S.S. Munson NCC-26800
    (Ambassador Class Refit)

The Munson is one of only a few Ambassador Class starships that is still in service in the 25th century. It has been extensively refitted over the decades and is now used a liaison vessel for diplomats, admirals, ect.
