I quit.
This career fucking sucks. After doing this fedex ground line haul job for a few weeks, I parked the truck back at the terminal and told my manager I quit. I'm sick of the long hours, this job has started to make me hate driving even a regular car, incompetent managers who'll scream at you over anything, old beat up trucks that barely work, etc.
I was unironically happier working as an office drone. At least there you aren't in a dangerous career working 70 hours a week, constantly tired and sick of it all.
I don't want to pay for a cdl downgrade, so I'll just wait until my med card expires. Go ahead and downvote this post and scream at me in the comments because I'm not reading them anyway.
