I was somewhat excited yesterday to celebrate my 20th birthday, but not a single soul in my household acknowledged it. I was giving cakes to my mom and grandma for Mother's day, and yet they can't remember a day their kid was born. I'm not sure if I should be telling all this because I don't wanna make someone else feel bad for me on their day, so I'm sorry in advanced. My friends and my girlfriend did greet me though, but it still hurts when the people you expect to have your birthday embedded in their noggin hasn't said a damn thing about your birthday. So happy birthday to me 🙂
