HELP: Dark Underarms

Main Concern: Dark Underarms
I have had my dark underarms since I first shaved when I was around 15 or 16. As a young and naive teenager, I was very conscious of my thick underarm hairs and decided to shave it off. Unfortunately, I didn’t know the consiquences it would give me in the long run. I may have irritated my skin and might have caused pigmentation. I’ve tried switching from different deos to try and see if that does anything but so far, I’m seeing nothing. Now I’d like to get some suggestions for any products you might all recommend that I could use while I’m still saving up for an appointment to a dermatologist. Thank you all so much.
