20F | 87kgs ->60kgs | in 3 years with on and off training but with a consistent lifestyle

Age: 20
Height: 170 cm
Weight: 87 kg → 60 kg
Timeframe: 3 years (pure consistency and patience)

Ngl but going from 87 kg to 60 kg was the hardest thing i did till date yaar

I stopped chasing quick results and started focusing on becoming stronger, healthier, more flexible and more confident. Every workout, every healthy meal and every small choice do add up eventually , so trust the process my people!

Mindset:
I learned that progress isn’t always visible on the weighing scale.
I chose consistency over perfection, discipline over motivation, and self belief over self doubt.
Every setback is temporary. Every day is another chance to start again.

Diet:
High protein + high fiber + whole food focused.
Plenty of protein from eggs, paneer, tofu, dal, chickpeas, Greek yogurt, sprouts, etc.

High fiber foods: vegetables, fruits, oats, whole grains, legumes, seeds and millets
Healthy fats from nuts, seeds, avocado and natural sources

Plenty of water throughout the day
No added sugar and no sugary drinks, get used to Diet Coke , will be really helpful when u need it!

Minimal junk food and balanced portions instead of starving myself
The goal was never to eat as little as possible. It was to eat enough to get going.

Workout Routine:
Instead of spending hours lifting weights, I found movement that I genuinely enjoy.
Pilates + Bodyweight Training + Dance + Mobility

Weekly Split:
Monday: Pilates + Core
Tuesday: Upper Body Bodyweight Training
Wednesday: Dance Class
Thursday: Lower Body + Glutes Bodyweight Training
Friday: Pilates + Mobility
Saturday: Dance Class + Full Body Bodyweight Flow
Sunday: Rest / Active Recovery / Long Walk

What I Focus On:
Strength
Flexibility
Mobility
Core stability
Balance
Posture
Endurance
Coordination
Confidence
Enjoying movement
Positive Affirmations:
I am stronger than I think.
I don’t need to be perfect to make progress.
My body deserves nourishment, movement and rest.
I am becoming healthier every day.
I trust the process.
I choose consistency over perfection.
I am proud of how far I’ve come.

This journey taught me that fitness isn’t punishment for what you ate.
It’s a way of taking care of yourself.
87 kg → 60 kg.
Still learning and still growing.

Most important of all “U got to love yourself first”
Have a lovely day u all!
