My first experience knitting with 100% cotton was better than expected
I enjoyed knitting with cotton. But I can see it’s less forgiving of tension inconsistencies! This is paintbox cotton DK.
I’ve been knitting for a few months. My garment knitting experience is limited to two v neck vests and the love letter top. My least favorite thing about knitting is picking up stitches for final finishes (I know it’s a necessary part of knitting for some designs but I’m a lazy knitter). So I thought maybe I can knit a top without having to do that.
I made this top without a pattern. It’s a very simple design but I’m happy with how it turned out. One thing that bothers me is the tip of the V neck. Is there a way to make it look better and not looking that one stitch is stretched?
