I just bought a Ricoh 500rf and tested it out with some Shanghai GP3 100. However, I might have overthought my exposure.

So the camera takes the 1.35v batteries, but fits a LR44. In most of the cameras I've tested with modern batteries the photos end up consistently 1/3 of a stop overexposed (tracking percentages in Lightroom), which is what I expect for 1.5v vs 1.35v.

I also heard that you should run GP3 100 at 50 or 64iso for best results. So I wanted to set my iso to 64. But I need to account for the battery overexposing it, so I dropped it to 50iso.

All of my test pics came out exactly 1 stop overexposed. So my question now is, did I mess up or did the internal meter? That stop could be the difference between running 100iso film at 50, or me messing up my exposure math and set the iso the wrong direction (to expose at 64iso + 1/3 of a stop) and maybe ended up 2/3 of a stop off and I'm just seeing it as a whole stop? I matched the exposure to the top end of the needle ( if it was between apertures), so it's possible I need to shot for the low end of the needle instead and the meter is off/overamped so overexposing.

Anyone have any clues?
