Planing to swap out my Tele bridge pickup to chase Johnny Greenwood’s tone. Is the JB Junior the right call?

I’ve got a Fender 50s Classic Telecaster (MIM) and I’m trying to get as close as possible to Jonny Greenwood’s bridge pickup tone, think the Dually Lace Sensor Red setup on his Tele Plus. I don’t want to reroute the body or replace the bridge, so I’m limited to a single-coil-sized pickup that drops straight into the stock bridge plate.

I’ve been looking at the Seymour Duncan JB Jr. for the Tele. It seems like the closest thing in that form factor without any modification.

My rig is a Boss Katana MkII with an original Marshall Shredmaster in the chain, so I’ve already got the gain side covered, I just need to move away from the pure single coil sound.

Is the JB Jr. for Tele the right pickup here, or is there something better suited to the Greenwood sound in that without needing to do too much work? Anyone actually installed one?

MessYourself quit YouTube and co-founded what looks like a pay-to-join wellness cult

If you grew up watching Brandon you know the story. 12 years, nearly 7 million subscribers, 3 billion views, channel gets demonetised, he posts about it, everyone sympathises, rage-deletes everything. Fair enough honestly, YouTube did him dirty.

But now he's co-founder of something called PeaceOS Global Movement. His dad, who goes by "Lord Jason Temasfieldt" (a title that exists nowhere outside their own website) is the Founder and President.

Go look at the site. Tiered membership with titles like "Global Peace Ambassador" and "Peace Country Director", a literal Global Peace Passport with a QR code on it, donation tiers up to $250 with zero explanation of where it goes, and language that reads like someone fed a Scientology brochure into ChatGPT.

What actually gets me is the pattern. He positioned himself as a victim, people felt for him, and now all that goodwill is being used to give this thing credibility. The fans signing up won't be people who researched it. They'll be people who felt sorry for him and wanted to support him. That's exactly who these things are built to catch.

It's just a shame really. Guy had every right to be angry at YouTube. Of all the things to do next, he built this.
