Working a remote job during a full-time MBA in the Netherlands (Maastricht/MSM) — Feasible?

Hey everyone,
I’m admitted to the full-time MBA at Maastricht School of Management (MSM) for Sept 2026. I currently work remotely as a Data Consultant for an MNC and I am hoping to keep my job during the 1-year program.
I know the MSM MBA features alternate-week classes, which seems flexible, but I need a reality check before I commit.
For anyone who has studied in NL or done a European MBA:
The Workload: Are the "off" weeks actually free, or are they packed with mandatory group work and case studies?
The Visa Rule: I’ll be on a Dutch student residence permit. Does the strict 16-hour/week limit still apply if my remote job is for a non-Dutch entity?
The Taxes: Will working remotely from the Netherlands as a student trigger a massive tax headache?
Has anyone successfully pulled something like this off, or am I setting myself up to fail? I would appreciate any advice, lived experiences, or harsh truths! Thanks.
