Coming into the market yes I was bullish, however I was short term bearish down to the 1hr unmitigated fair value gap.
09:30 came around and we got a clear manipulation into a 15m rejection block. The rejection block carried an HTF SMT, make it a very safe SL.
I usually trade inversions but this seemed too obvious not to take.
First trade here. Absolutely A+++ SETUP for me 09:30 PO3 (Juda Off Open) Sweeping out a 1hr intermediate low putting in an HTF SMT with ES (Asia Lows) Really nice momentum through the iFVG, BANG! i got stopped out. This should actually have been a BE trade but i was too slow to react in live time. The second candle after inversing the FVG opened up a 5m GAP and tapped into it. My rules state that i must go BE at a point where it could reverse. A+ Trade would take it 10/10 Times.
Second trade that brought me to BE on the day. I decided to trade the 10am candle open. I was still extremely bullish on the day so i wanted to see longs obviously. When i trade the 10am PO3 i like to see a accumilation then manipulation into some PD-array, in this case it was a 5m RB, i simply entered off CISD (i usually enter off iFVGs but i loved this setup).
I was aiming for 29304 highs but i trailed SL pretty hard when we hit TDO, because then in worst case scenario i would end the day on BE. It hit my Full TP BTW.
Coming into the market I was actually kinda bullish today, so I used a 15m FVG as my condition to either frame prices higher, or lower.
If we inversed the 15m gap I would look for short down to the 4hr UMG
09:30 opens and we manipulate into my condition so I was looking for a long opportunity up to the 1hr UMG, but a setup never presented itself for me.
Sat on my hands and watched the long actually fail to deliver to DOL.
Price then decided to dump and inverse my condition, so what am I looking for now? As I said shorts down to the 4hr UMG.
10am (new 4hr candle) opens.
We get a AMD model
We accumulate a bit, then manipulating into our 15m iFVG + 15m OB.
Price opens up a 5m bullish FVG on the manipulation.
We get a nice stop hunt then a beautiful 1m iFVG.
The main reason I was so confident in this trade is due to the 10AM PO3 aswell as a perfect break even spot, which was the 5m bullish FVG we made on the manipulation leg.
If we were going to be bullish we would have used the 5m bullish FVG as support, which basically for me means that this was either going to be a BE trade or TP. But the confidence that I had in atleast the 5m (my be) getting hit was high.

Break down:
Coming into the market I am basically only looking for longs right now due to us trading at ATH.
When I am trading all time highs all I want to see is a 5/15m FVG retracement.
As you could imagine I sat on my hands almost every second of the day today until I finally saw a setup.
10:30 opens so I was expecting a OLHC.
We manipulate into our newly created 30m GAP which is also a 15m intermediate low atsp.
After that we get a 1m iFVG with great displacement.

When we are trading all time highs I usually like to SQUEEEZE out a bit more profits than just putting my TP at the ATH. So I targeted a little over a 2:1.
