Hi all, i have just picked myself up a second gen SP, a few little touches here and there but mostly stock. it has a standard exhaust system but is too quiet for.my taste. I am after some recommendations from people who have done a swap out or helped a mate or customer do a swap out. I am only interested in a slip on, as I don't want issues with the factory sensors or the po po, and i want it to be carbon fibre. my old R1 has CF Termignoni pipes on it and it sounds spectacular. a friend of mine who used to review bikes for a living said its one of the best sounding bikes he has ever heard, so i was leaning that way, but before i drop a grand on that, i wanted to hear some other opinions. i am after a deep grumble as opposed to a tinny type of sound if that makes sense.
