[Canada/QC/ON] EBOX Internet Referral Code: GE911 ($50 Credit until May 31st!) + FAQ
Switched from Videotron to EBOX a year ago and I've been with them ever since. I've put together a quick Q&A covering the questions I wished I had answers to before signing up.
Q: What is the referral code and what do I get?
A: The code is GE911. If you sign up before May 31, 2026, new customers get a $50 credit applied to their second invoice (not the first one). I also get a $50 credit when you sign up. Full transparency.
Q: What happens if I sign up after May 31, 2026?
A: The standard referral bonus applies: new customers will get a $25 credit applied to their second invoice, and I will receive $25 as well.
Q: What are other names used for the GE911 EBOX code?
A: Depending on where you look or how you search, you might see it called an EBOX referral code, a client code, or an EBOX reference. They all mean the exact same thing. Just enter GE911 in the referral field during checkout to lock in your credit.
Q: Where exactly do I enter the code GE911?
A: During the checkout process on ebox.ca, there is a specific field for a referral code / referring account number in the order flow. Enter GE911 there. Do not skip this step, as it is very difficult to add it later.
Q: When does the credit actually appear?
A: On your second invoice. You must remain an active customer for at least two billing cycles for the credit to be issued to both of us. It will not show up on your initial bill.
Q: Is EBOX just Bell with a different logo?
A: EBOX is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bell and uses the exact same 100% fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructure. The main differences are the pricing model, no pushy 2-year contracts on most plans, and itemized billing. The network is the same, but the customer experience is different.
Q: What if I cancel before my second invoice?
A: The referral bonus is voided and neither of us gets the credit.
Q: Can I add the code if I already completed my sign-up?
A: Generally, no. The referral must be entered during the initial order flow. You can try contacting EBOX customer support if you missed it, but they rarely apply it retroactively. Do not count on it.
Q: Is EBOX available in my area?
A: They operate in Québec and Ontario. Always run your address through the availability checker on ebox.ca before committing—do not assume it's available just based on your city or postal code.
Transparency Statement: I am a current EBOX customer. Using my client code (GE911) gives you a credit on your second bill and rewards me with an equal credit. This does not affect your monthly rate or plan selection in any way.
