How to Get stickers to stick better!

So i am into making custom stickers for personal use of my various hobbies and interests, but one thing i would love to stickerbomb is my skates. But nomatter how much i try they just fall off of the plastic!

They stick fine to the metal frames but i cant get any to stick to the molded plastic. Does anyone have any tips or maybe a better paper reccomendation to get them to stick better to plastics?

Protecting stickers on laptop

So I am planning on sticker bombing my laptop soon and want a way to protect the sticker swarm. I have heard of people using some sort of clear laminate to do this (I am guessing it is like a adhesive on one side clear sheet that goes over all the stickers to protect them). I can not find this product anywhere. Other people were talking about packing tape but after trying this I find it really difficult to keep the packing tape clear of any grime/dust and fingerprints, plus it was starting to come off fairly quickly. I also do have some I want to use that are wider than the packing tape. I saw some people suggesting sprays but I am not sure how good of an idea it is to spray a laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?

What is this “genre” of sticker I kept seeing all over NYC?

Pic is just one example. I saw a bunch of these kinds of stickers with random strings of letters/semi-phrases. I assume it’s just whoever’s graf name putting up wherever they can, but i saw lots of different combinations in the same/similar white impact font on black background combo where it seemed to be many different people not just one guy

Creating a sticker archive website?

Hi all,
As I’ve fallen in love with vintage stickers, it’s made me incredibly sad to realize that there are seemingly no established sticker ephemera digital archives. I am predominantly focused on 70/80/90s. For context, I am an art student and currently do archival work for my main income.

Does anybody here know of any online archives? I will be reaching out to Amy Lynne from the Sniff Stickers archive, as her website has been down for a while it seems.

Secondly, I am brand new to all of this and will be searching facebook as well, but do you think there’s a chance that sticker collectors would be willing to collaborate with me and let me scan/digitize/upload high quality images of their collections? The idea of art like stickers eventually disappearing makes me so unbelievably sad, especially in a world full of AI.

I know there may be copyright things and such, but if anything I could start an unestablished archive blog that be more official in the future.

Any thoughts would be helpful, thank you 💖

Title: Looking for club / supporter stickers for my sticker door and gym project

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a sticker project in my home gym. It started as a sticker door, but it has now expanded to the front of the door and onto the exposed beams as well — so I have plenty of space to fill.

I’m looking for stickers from football clubs, GAA clubs, rugby clubs, basketball teams, hockey clubs, ultras, supporter groups, podcasts, fan media, local clubs, lower-league teams, sports museums, or any sporting community with a bit of identity behind it.

I’m based in Ireland and would love to add stickers from clubs and fans from around the world. Big clubs, tiny village teams, fallen giants, phoenix clubs, ultras, fan groups, podcasts, non-league chaos — all welcome.

I’m happy to send my address privately, and I can also send something Irish/GAA-related back if anyone is interested in a swap.

Thanks a million — the more obscure, the better!

I want your opinion

These stickers were designed using artificial intelligence, what do you think? What can I improve?

What is this type of sticker called?

Hello! I got these at Daiso a while ago just for journalling, but I know I've seen pictures online of entire books collecting these stickers, with dedicated sleeves in this size and everything. What are they?

Address stickers for postcards when traveling

Hi all!

My partner and I travel a few times a year and we like to send postcards to some of our loved ones while we’re away. It seems like such a small issue, but when I’m jetlagged and trying to send out half a dozen handwritten cards at a time, looking up addresses and then hand-writing them onto each card slows me down a lot. Does anyone have any recommendations for inexpensive stickers that can be printed and thrown together in a small box to help me solve this minor issue? I know that there are return address labels readily available online, but I don’t want to buy hundreds of stickers for each household’s address when I’m likely to use just a few per year.

Thanks in advance ❤️

We are giving up on printing our own packaging stickers, where do you get yours?

We have been trying to handle our packaging stickers in-house for the last few months but i think we are done. The home setup we have is a basic inkjet plus a cutter was fine when we were doing a handful of orders a week but at our current volume the ink smudges if a box gets any moisture and the cuts are inconsistent enough that customers have started to notice.

Now, we are looking for somewhere we can order properly printed packaging stickers without losing the whole margin on it. Anyone made the same switch and have a printer you recommend?

How is this kind of puffy stickers made?

Can someone explain to me how is it made? Is it a coat of resin or something? Sorry if it is a dumb question. I'm a noob in the sticker business.
