Newly Licensed Life

Very ignorant in this field. i just became licensed for sell life insurance. i currently work for a big P&C carrier. Life insurance for me right now is just a tool for me to help increase my compensation. Should i forget about the P&C and focus on life insurance (find a broker that only focuses on life?) or rely on P&C with Life insurance as a benefit? (fyi our commissions get cut in half if i don’t sell one policy per month).

I’ve come across so much social media seeing people gain great success just selling life insurance that it makes me question if it is worth focusing on P&C. So many companies are stressing commission cuts based off selling life insurance.

I’ve been averaging 800-1000 points every month as a producer, but now with life insurance being crucial, it makes me question if the it’s worth the effort.

Life Insurance?

i work for an agent and he’s recently made getting life insurance a requirement for us to receive full compensation. he/she is claiming that Corporate is going to be pushing us to have it. is this common for many of us working for agents?
