Welcome Oblivion - How to Destroy Angels

I have listened to the album by Trent & co again for about the 5th time.

It is a good album.

The vocals are solid and I really appreciate the production from a production standpoint.

It builds on the IP of NIN with possibly a little more risk taking creatively.

I think the Reznor sound is here but with some of his most fleshed out sonic experiences in the production side of Ross & Reznor since the 90s. Especially when you consider the cohesiveness and direction of the sound minus a couple stand out tracks that escape the album's general direction in terms of production.

I heavily suggest giving this album a listen.

It's unique and accessible. I could see Halsey or other pop singers doing this album but sadly it was released with indie level promotion.

Give it a few listens.

Peace ✌️.

[LFG] Looking for remote bandmates for year long album project.

Make sure to have recording knowledge and DAW knowledge.

I can mix and master as well as arrange and do all the synths/keyboards and percussion as well as vocals.

Style is to be decided. Check my portfolio to get an idea of my range.

Which album - Still or Ghosts?

I'm a big fan of the instrumentals by Trent & Co.

My fav in terms of mixing and delivery is "Still".

I love the intimate recording style and the raw but well mixed sound.

I love the piano.

I think this album is what I love most about Trent's songs.

I wish we got more live tracking from Trent. He's such a good performer that I think it would be great to get another album with this production style.

I crave it actually.

Ghosts on the other hand is more distorted and discombobulated (in a good way) and it has some tonal similarities at times.

I really enjoy the piano tracks. I find them meditative and intimate. True headphone music.

I like Still more. I think it's NINs most intimate collection of tracks from a production and delivery standpoint.

Absolutely great work from a GOAT and his session dudes.
