Which NHL team do most people support?

Totally random question that popped into my head that is rather meaningless but now I’m curious.

Obviously UND hockey dominates people’s attention, but is Grand Forks more of a Jets or Wild town?

Which Democrat has the best chance of winning this year?

I’m honestly skeptical that any Democrat will win statewide, but talk of the populist right voting blue has eroded my skepticism to a degree. Vern Thompson seems to have the best odds given beef, tariff, and data center frustrations. I would love to see Trygve Hammer win, but Fedorchak has too strong of a following.

Those experienced in action research, any advice for handling an extra data point?

I am a teacher doing action research with 15 student participants. I had students respond to both a pre and post s*rvey (word isn’t allowed on this sub haha) on Google Forms. Each time I got 16 responses, meaning 1 extra. Responses were collected anonymously and every single response was received within a three minute time frame since they filled out the Forms in class. There is no outlier time-wise and I also can’t see an obvious duplicated response when analyzing them.

So how do you tackle this ethically in a paper? Of course I can’t just delete a response arbitrarily. Just use all 16 responses and then dive into the problem in the limitations section? It’s strange that I got an extra response both times.

Asking Reddit rather than my advisor because by his own admission, he’s not very familiar with action research.

15 Participants, but 16 Survey Responses

Hopefully this is the right sub. I am a teacher doing action research with 15 student participants. I had students respond to both a pre and post survey on Google Forms. Each time I got 16 responses, meaning 1 extra. Responses were collected anonymously and every single response was received within a three minute time frame since they filled out the survey in class. Missed the Deadline to Apply for Graduation

Today I realized I am 25 days past the deadline to apply for summer graduation (it was May 1). I guess my excuse is that I was following a checklist that said “make sure to apply for graduation early in the semester.” I interpreted this as early in my final semester, but nope, I guess it meant early in the preceding semester. My advisor said to apply anyway and that we’ll have to wait and see what they say, so I did. I’m going to call the graduate office in the morning and see if anything can be done.

So I’m mostly just curious if this has happened to anyone else, and if so, what ended up happening?

Dress Code for Senate Committee Hearing?

I’ll be in DC next week and would like to attend a committee meeting since I’m a government nerd. I know everything is very formal, so should I probably throw on some khakis and a buttoned shirt? I see that Rubio is testifying before the Foreign Relations, how early should one lineup for a high profile one like that? Anything else a guy should know? Thanks!

Should I just book a consultation if I’m unsure whether I have it?

Even with running a marathon and getting real skinny, chest fat has been stubborn, leading me to feel more confident it’s gyno. Is it worth just paying the $100-200 dollars to get an expert’s opinion?
