Roxy deals so much damage ive been running her as a DPS, mostly featuring Orphie. But shes so effective i got curious about how low i could push her team investment and still clear. So behold, DPS Roxy with only Nicole (and unupgraded Antonboo).
Run could have been alot better if i didnt start fumbling towards the end, but it was good enough to clear. Builds and such at the end.

I have seen alot of people assume SEED, Astra and Vivian + w-engines are being added to the collectible exchange shop, but this is very likely not the case. The phrasing of the spending event specifies that selecting the collectible exchange currency is 1 of 4 options. Selecting the featured agents is a separate option. In the previous event you recieved the currency and could then spend it as you pleased.
I would love to be wrong here, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Cordis Germina in the shop would be kinda game breaking.
A lot of the time when I see people talk about ZZZ I feel like I must be playing a different game or something. Whether it's people being positive or negative, a prevailing narrative seems to be that ZZZ makes all of its characters as like "romance bait" for the MC etc. But like. That does not feel true at all to me.
I have been watching and re-watching trust events, hang-outs and other events, aswell as looking through the story again recently, and most of the casts attitude towards the MC is just so.. mundane. Friendly sure. But rarely anything more. Even in their personal trust events that you'd think would be tailor made for those wishing to pursue a romantic relationship with any given character.
There are some very clear outliers of course like Trigger, Vivian, Yidhari and Xiaoguang that stands out. They have frameworks of a romantic arc built into their main stories, and show some more on the nose affection towards the Proxy. And Remielle seems to be heading in a similar direction. But it really is not the norm.
Looking at everyone else in the 3.0 cast for example. There has been 0 flirting, implied romantic feelings or anything like that from anyone. Not Cissia, not Billy, not Velina, not Norma, not Sigrid. Atleast not towards the proxy. And most characters and chapters are like this.
So I find it so strange that this game gets talked about the way it does. Like the entire cast doesn't exist fully as their own characters but just as a romance option in a dating sim.
Now I personally would prefer if they dared to like stick with anything. Like actually write out a real romance plot with a character and have it actually affect the story and its characters. Bc the few characters they really do make to be plausible romantic partners so far end up suffering for this. They don't get to have a satisfying conclusion to their arc. I understand why its like that though given the nature of a gacha game, but it is unfortunate.
Tl,dr: the romance of ZZZ and supposed "rizz" of the proxy are incredibly overstated.
A little showcase of my take on DPS Zhao. Still room for improvement in the gameplay, and if I had infinite resources I'd love to try out other variants, such as astral voice Orphie. But a proof of concept that Zhao can deal some pretty real damage.

So uhh. What was that about? Maybe I missed something, but that event essentially ended on a cliff-hanger I sorta assumed would be relevant in 2.8, right? Dont get me wrong, I loved 2.8 and dont think its a big deal or anything. If they decided to rewrite it, they did do a great job. I even forgot all about it until now. But like, isnt that a bit strange?
Is it set-up for even later down the line? Or just scrapped?
