Strawberry Bag

Needed a bag for all my kitchen odds and ends, so I thought this would be on theme! I got frustrated a few times, but after the effort of adding a zipper and stabilizing the bottom with some cut up doormats/wash cloths from the dollar store I couldn’t be happier with it

What’s making my brioche look like this?

I’ve made brioche a few times, this most recent time with a new recipe, and I’m pretty happy with it, but along the braid I get this texture like it’s pulling and ripping… am I underkneading?

I ran this thing in the mixer for almost an hour when all was said and done, and I let it rise for an extra hour or so after shaping since it wasn’t growing too quick

Thanks in advance!

Thinking of using yarn from an old sweater which I love the color and feel of, but not the fit (it’s a much more autumny orange irl, but just way too tight around the neck)

I read somewhere that crocheting uses more yarn to cover the same area than knit, which I’d guess would be fine since the cardigan is open in the front, but it’s got this ribbed collar which I know also takes up a lot of yarn, so I’m worried

OG sweater is nice and thick, sized large, I’m guessing I’d probably use a 5mm H-8 hook with the yarn being worsted or light worsted

Pattern is A Crocheted Simplicity - Men’s Crochet Cardigan which I’ll be making in the large size which calls for 2480 yards (14 balls) of worsted weight yarn

Any and all help appreciated, thank you in advance!
