Last few days with my cat

Hi alll. I’m going through such a hard time accepting that it’s my soul cats time to go. I haven’t lost him yet but I will in 9 days. He’s been with me for 15 years and has been my rock. He’s an old man now and has had FLUTD (feline lower urinary track disease) for over a decade. He’s been on prescription food and meds but his condition has progressed and poor guy is now going through some incontinence issues. He’s been declining the past couple of days and has lost interest in playing, grooming and even snuggling. I can see it in his eyes that he’s not feeling like himself. After talking with the vet we’ve made the painful conclusion that his quality of life is declining and it might be time to let him rest. I’m so heartbroken and already grieving my best friend even though he’s still here for a couple more days. I already miss him. Anyways I just wanted to get that off my chest and I welcome any kind words and advice. ❤️‍🩹
