[Switch Lite] Dpad buttons require hard pressure to sometimes work even after replacing membranes and daughterboard and ribbon
As said in title, I replaced the daughterboard, the ribbon cable, and the dpads conductive membrane and somehow it still takes a very hard press for the dpad to register.
I continuity tested, while ribbon is connected, from dpad’s metal pad on the daughterboard all the way to the corresponding pin on the mainboard connector and seems there’s no issue. I get a steady beep.
So what the hell could be the problem???
*context: this is all after I disassembled the device to try to put some tape under the dpads pivot point to eliminate accidental diagonals. somehow I must have messed something up during that process.
