Never thought Snail Mail would be the first to go

I forgot I could just. Write postcards to people. Seeing the postcard posts (yes I binged top of all time 😭) made me realise I had a set I'd bought at an art festival in december, and I thought why not spread some mirth and whimsy? Penpaling ftw!

New here! + a tip

A recent(ish) spread I did using a le petit prince washi + sticker set I bought 3 years ago. Still getting used to using nice stuff on myself for a change v/s hate panning and then not enjoying the process.

Hello!! It's so lovely discovering I'm not alone after going down the project pan rabbithole and then eyeing my hoard of stationery and inks. I've noticed in addition to the audhd-fueled dopamine hits my brain decides to bestow upon me every time I peruse cute stickers, I have the tendency to buy extras to justify my too-precious-to-use thinking pattern to myself. Those large packs of cheap PET botanical stickers are the bane of my existence lol. Right now I wanna try and pan sticky notes (especially those really thin index tab style ones), memo pads and highlighters. I don't really use sticky notes all that much, so I'm working on incorporating them in spreads when I can, though it's going pretty slow.

Anyway, I tend to use a lot of stickers for deco journalling (I make spreads, usually themed around colour, though I'm working on using my botanical stickers and ephemera nowadays) and I sometimes struggle with actually 'wasting' the page on mundane stuff. What I usually do in those cases is look up a random ncbi/pubmed article tangentially related to the topic at hand and then write an excerpt of it! Looks really pretty without being lorem ipsum filler text, and ends up being educational as well. Hope this helps mitigate some sticker paralysis at least.
