Filled my 15th diary! Meet my 16th

why this one? cause it's very bulky and doesn't have that many pages. I didn't add the picture of my 15th cause you can already find it on my page!

June empties

Made some good progress this past month!

Totals:

30 plastic washi tape (all rolls were almost gone)

1 gel pen

46 single plastic stickers (flakes) - in one of three cost plastic containers

123 die cut stickers (in the other 3 plastic containers)

29 clear plastic sheets of stickers (the small sheets at the bottom left of the first photo)

18 clear plastic sticker sheets (the ones that show sticker outlines on them in the 2nd photo)

13 paper sticker sheets (the ones with the sticker outlines in the 2nd photo)

5 sticker outline sheets (the stickers were used up a long time ago, but I saved the outlines (the page around the stickers) so I could use them for coloring in the spaces to make pictures, or use them for lists in my journal. For example, if the stickers were all circles, I would use the left over sticker outline and place it on a journal page, then write words in the open circles like a list, say like a bucket list, stuff I want to accomplish, stuff I'm grateful for, etc)

I'm excited to pick out a new group of stickers to work on for this month!

Washi tapes, stickers & pen refill progress

I finished one more washi tape roll, 10 pen refills (the 10th one exploded so it's in the trash it made a neon green mess) but I'm so close to finishing the colored gel pens!! I inserted a picture of what's left excluding the 3 ones that already are in my pens. Can't believe I'm so close to the finish line!!! :)

Also i dedicated a notebook to stick the stickers that don't look good on letters but that i can't just give away. I have a picture of all the ones i used up. Believe me they don't look like many but the tower is tall. However i should stray away from putting 3d stickers on them.. not only do they fall off but they bulk the notebook a lot.

updates without a picture: I've sorted through my washi tapes and will give away the ones that don't bring me joy anymore. also i started using stickers and washi tapes in my Bible study notebook so that writing will be more pleasant.

I love this subreddit it keeps me very motivated :)

EDIT: Forgot!!! I'm also almost done with my 15th diary can't wait to show you the 16th. It'll be a repurposed gratitude journal

New here! + a tip

A recent(ish) spread I did using a le petit prince washi + sticker set I bought 3 years ago. Still getting used to using nice stuff on myself for a change v/s hate panning and then not enjoying the process.

Hello!! It's so lovely discovering I'm not alone after going down the project pan rabbithole and then eyeing my hoard of stationery and inks. I've noticed in addition to the audhd-fueled dopamine hits my brain decides to bestow upon me every time I peruse cute stickers, I have the tendency to buy extras to justify my too-precious-to-use thinking pattern to myself. Those large packs of cheap PET botanical stickers are the bane of my existence lol. Right now I wanna try and pan sticky notes (especially those really thin index tab style ones), memo pads and highlighters. I don't really use sticky notes all that much, so I'm working on incorporating them in spreads when I can, though it's going pretty slow.

Anyway, I tend to use a lot of stickers for deco journalling (I make spreads, usually themed around colour, though I'm working on using my botanical stickers and ephemera nowadays) and I sometimes struggle with actually 'wasting' the page on mundane stuff. What I usually do in those cases is look up a random ncbi/pubmed article tangentially related to the topic at hand and then write an excerpt of it! Looks really pretty without being lorem ipsum filler text, and ends up being educational as well. Hope this helps mitigate some sticker paralysis at least.

Never thought Snail Mail would be the first to go

I forgot I could just. Write postcards to people. Seeing the postcard posts (yes I binged top of all time 😭) made me realise I had a set I'd bought at an art festival in december, and I thought why not spread some mirth and whimsy? Penpaling ftw!

Weekly Check-In: How’s Panning and No/Low Buy Going? 7/2-7/8

How’s it going with using/panning stationery, a no buy, or low buy? How is stationery bingo going?

I am away and have bought some stationery within my low buy. I tend to feel guilty when I do that, but it was a postcard set I’ve wanted for several months, so I feel okay because it definitely wasn’t an impulse purchase. I brought snail mail with me to answer, so I’ve been using stationery every day. I’ve checked off a few more bingo squares and am aiming to fill the whole grid in the next few weeks.

Half a Year of Panning!

We're half way through 2026, and for me that means I'm celebrating 6 months of stationery panning! Here's links to my posts from May, April, March and February, and the comment I started the year with.

I've got progress, plans and, unusually for me, actual photos of empties! I remembered the one category that I keep empties for and got a mid-year snapshot.

About halfway through the month I started to fear that all the writing I've been doing while enjoying my inks might be giving me wrist pain, until I realised that a much more likely suspect was Flight Rising's new Canopy Crepes minigame. I can't resist grinding for an achievement, but my pens are blameless and the ink panning is going strong! The wrist pain disappeared a couple of days after I completed the achievement and stopped playing.

I completed my Quarter 2 goals this month, following good progress in April and May, by bringing the remaining washi tape in the project down to 5 rolls. In fact I finished all the offcut washi and all of the original set of washi from the project, leaving only a handful of the more recent additions. I also completed my panning goal for Diamine Polar Glow, to fit the currently-panning sample vial into the other Polar Glow sample vial. Only about 0.5 ml (a small fill) was transferred in the end because I filled a pen before I realised I'd already made that possible.

My mid-month re-inking was a comparison of three similar turquoise inks in a Turquoise Showdown to try to decide which one has a long-term place in my collection, but mostly I just really enjoyed them all together XD I still have more left of the two serious contenders (a bottle of Disdainful Damson, and three more cartridges of Steel Blue) so I can always do the comparison again in a few months, and the third ink for comparison on the repeat will be Aurora Borealis which I'm definitely keeping, instead of Lamy Turquoise which I am definitely not keeping. On that note, that was my last cartridge of Lamy Turquoise, bringing my collection down to 28 inks.

Initially when I added ink cartridges to the project I set myself a goal to use at least 10 total cartridges through the remaining 9 months of the year. In less than three months since setting that goal I've used 9 cartridges already! One each of Kaweco Blue and Lamy Turquoise, plus Orange, Imperial Purple, Grey, Sapphire Blue, Steel Blue, Emerald and Autumn Oak, all by Diamine. I'm going to update that goal to be 25 cartridges, which will leave me with 15 cartridges remaining going into 2027. So far that seems fairly sustainable alongside using at least 1 mL per month of Livid Lime mixes, plus Salix, Scabiosa and my other favourites occasionally.

I'm now rolling my entire washi tape collection into the project, though mostly just for monitoring. I was finding that I felt like I couldn't enjoy my collection while it was out of the project, because I wouldn't be able to appreciate my progress on washi I wasn't 'officially' panning. Now everything is bundled into a handful of categories which I'm tracking the weight on, so while only one of those categories is a new finish-it-completely panning goal, everything can contribute progress by being used.

June progress in my project pan! ☀️

Here is my June progress!

- 4 highlighters

- 1 fineliner

- 9 word search pages

- 5 sticky notes

- 33 A5 pages for notes at work

- 55 sticker flakes

- Total: 243 grams out of my home!!! 😍

I'm so happy with my progress this month, because I had to move again (I had another moving just 2 months ago) and I thought I wouldn't be able to finish as much stuff (and due to the stress I was sooo tempted to buy some sketchbooks). But counting all of it has surprised me a lot, and I managed not to buy anything!

Happy panning! 💙

Finished sticker sheets! 🎉

Following my Stickii inventory I did recently, I have finished two sheets through letter writing and journaling—it’s a start! These both came from cute packs (pictures of them also posted!)

A couple of months worth of items used

I bullet journal as a hobby which means I own...a lot of stationery. Making a start on using it rather than collecting it! Here are some empty PET tapes, glue dot roller and some sticker sheets from my favourite brands.

More squares!

June was crazy busy, but was able to do a few more squares!

Purple, pink, blue, green and outer space.

Pretty happy with all of them ❤️

Two months!

Two months worth of decluttering of my stickers. I also have put lots in my reusable sticker books! It is way easier to see what I have in my collecting.
