What do you include in your Project Pan?

I started counting all my beauty + skincare products and it was almost 50 which was shocking to me. I really thought I had a lot less products than that!

But then again, 13 of those items are nail polish. I'd love to use some of those up but I find nail polish nearly impossible to finish. I'm fairly sure I've never finished one and only threw them out when they went bad.

Does deodorant and other every day items count? I have 1 deodorant, 1 eye cream, and 1 face cream. Those are pretty much always 1 in, 1 out.

The items I'm struggling with are the various hand creams (6!) and now I'm down to 2 eyeliners (started with 4 last year).

I guess I'm curious if PP is more about items you struggle with than the ones you already have a good hold on. :)

Nyx eyeliner went bad before I finished it!

I’ve been working on finishing my brown Nyx eyeliner. I put it on a few days ago and my eyes got so itchy within minutes. When I went to check how much was left, there was maybe an inch and a half of product left. Honestly, it was a lot less than I was expecting so it didn’t feel too bad throwing it away.

Now I’m down to 2 eyeliners! My goal is to finish another one and buy 2 nice ones from MAC.

Finished a sticker sheet! 🥳

So many little flowers. Finally finished this sheet. It sorta kinda matches the washi tape. :)

How should I repurpose these two notebook covers?

I finished two notebooks so far this year and I’ve kept their covers.

I’d like to repurpose them. Maybe bookmarks? Something else?

What do you think I should make with them?! :)

Thanks for being here!

I'm honestly floored that so many people are in this little craft with your stash community. I started the sub last Fall and didn't quite know how to get the word out. I slowly started posting in the new year and thanks to one semi viral post about upcycled bookmarks, this group has grown so much!

I'd love to hear what you've been making, how your stash is looking these days, which stashes you're looking to make a dent in, ask for help figuring out how to use something, or just say hello! :)

I’ve had these puffy stickers in my stash since 2016 from my trip to Japan and the iron on patch since probably 2020? All I know of is that I’ve held onto these for way too long and they’re so cute! I love how the covers turned out. Now to doodle some things! :)

Used far less cotton pearl thread than I was expecting but still made a tiny dent in that stash. 🥳

April’s stash busting recap:

  • 2 sticker flakes
  • 1 sticky notepad
  • 6 sticker sheets
  • 1 notebook
  • 1 yarn skein

A lot more variety last month! I'm still shocked I managed to finish a notebook (okay, half a notebook but still) in a little over a month. I haven't been using that many stickers lately but hoping to make a larger dent in May.

I also finished a cotton pearl skein (is that what they're called?!) but I didn't have a band for it to show off in my empties. 😄

How'd you do last month?

Half of the notebook has notes from 2008 and the other half are morning pages from the past month. Quite the span of time between beginning and end. 😅

I’ve had this notebook for over a year and keep meaning to use it as my daily notebook. Now that I've finished my morning pages notebook, I'm cracking this one open. Finally! The plan is to use the left side for lists + schedule and the right side for my morning pages (just one page is good for me these days!)

Posting here as accountability and seeing how long it takes to use it up.

I’d been wanting to do this for a while. Just had to pick the set of washi tapes… and of course, changed my mind after taking the before photo. 😅

Made a bit of a dent in each roll and now I have a cute new container for my knitting needles! 🥳
