Seller has items listed, even sends a lower offer, but auto messages being away till September after sending message.

This is what I got after sending a question, and it repeated after asking again when I got a discounted offer:

“(SELLER) is out of office until 09/01/2026 and may not be able to respond your message.

Automatic reply from (SELLER):
Currently going through a major life event. Apologies. But I cannot ship out any items at this time, so have paused sales.”

Obviously, got no responses yet from any of the questions I asked. How common is it for an Ebay seller to still have their items up, and have an auto message saying they’re away despite not declaring they’re away? Shouldn’t they have everything delisted because of this? Is this even something I should report to Ebay? Sucks cause they have this one extremely rare item I want.

Flying somewhere so weirdly placed on the map like American Samoa results in the dot not even appearing on Flighty

My progress up till this point of the year. As I post this, I’m currently on the flight to Pago Pago and archived it before landing. I found it funny that there isn’t even a place for Flighty to put where I’m arriving.

Guess I’ll just land in the middle of the ocean instead.
