Are we done with Baker or is this a good contender buy window?

In my leagues Baker has essentially been left for dead, most managers have been trying to get sell him for whatever they can get. Baker hasn't been great since the bye week last year, but he's had some injuries and the circumstances he had to start the year (Rainy game against CLE, playing against the vikings D) weren't great for fantasy production. Is he a buy as a guy who can be a QB2 for the next couple of years or is he someone everyone should avoid at all cost?

Kirko Chains: Is he the guy for Las Vegas for the rest of the year?

Kirk Cousins has been incredible for the Raiders this year, nearly leading them to a victory over KC and ranking as the QB7 on the season in terms of fantasy points. Up until this last week I think most people have thought that Kirk would only be starting some of this season, however with this most recent game I think the question begs itself: will Kirk remain here to stay this season? If the Raiders are in playoff contention I don't think it makes much sense to switch up at QB, and it seems as though Kirk might be cementing himself as a potential starting option next year for a team that needs a bridge QB? Is Kirk a guy we need to be buying if we are contending?

After last night I'm convinced Matthew Golden is fully breaking out

Last night's game was terrible to watch as a Packers fan, but there were a couple of bright spots I could hang on to. First of all, Christian Watson can be a WR1 when he's not injured(not too crazy of a take). Second of all, Matthew Golden could legitimately average 15+ PPG this year (Which would have put him close to a WR1 mark last year).

The entire offseason, I was very skeptical of the Golden hype train gaining steam. I felt as though he didn't prove a whole lot last season besides the fantastic playoff game against the Bears. I also wasn't sure he was going to get the playing time and target volume to be a legitimate fantasy producer. I made a lot of trades for Jayden Reed, thinking people might be sleeping on his ability to produce out of the slot for the offense. However, these past 3 games have completely changed my opinion. Golden is here, and he's here to stay.

Golden has had the highest target share out of any Packers player(averaging 10 a game), and it just seems like Love will continually look his way. Last night, there were several bad balls that Love threw, which led to Golden only catching 5 of his 12 targets; however, Golden made some great catches (Go watch his touchdown snag and his first catch from last night). The guy can adjust like an elite receiver, and he is so fast. He seems to be easily getting open this year, especially against zone. As an admitted Golden skeptic with very little dynasty stock, he passes every eye test for me. I'm now convinced he's going to be very good.

Where are we on Caleb Douglas?

As the title is asking, I'm curious how people are feeling about Douglas in Miami? He's gotten a lot of training camp hype and praise from the coaches and the Dolphins have a wide open WR room. It seems as though the team already sees him as one of their top 2 WRs already. I understand that Chris Bell gets more love as a prospect compared to Douglas, however I think there's probably a good amount of targets for both of these players if they can prove themselves.

Douglas has the backing of the draft capital and the solid training camp. Could he potentially be one of the leading WRs on this team?

Is Colby Parkinson the most slept on tight end right now?

Last year Colby Parkinson didn't get much reps from weeks 1-6, however from weeks 7-the playoffs he scored 155.9 PPR points good for 11.13 PPG(14+ in 1.0 TE premium) which would have put him in right around Tyler Warren at TE10. While this mark isn't anything insane, it was incredibly impressive to watch him take the reigns as the TE1 for the rams. Parkinson has already been named the TE1 for the rams this season and last year he led the Rams in redzone targets and broke the team's single season TE record with 8 TDs.

Right now Parkinson is being valued at TE40 on KTC. 40!! I understand that the Rams have a ton of TEs and drafted Ferguson. However, Parkinson is a good blocker and clearly a good pass catcher who just had an incredibly successful season and has already gotten the backup from coaches about being the TE1. Why is he being valued less than a 28 third on KTC? He's only 27, he has one year on his contract left and he could easily get an extension or be the TE1 elsewhere if he has a solid season.

I think Parkinson is a must buy at the price, there's not a TE with top 15 potential that you can buy for a mid 28 third like him.

Investing in talented players in bad situations before their contract year

I've found one of the easiest and most successful ways to grow the value of a dynasty roster is in the investment in talented players who are in a bad situation but a contract year. I feel like this method isn't talked about enough. Last year a great example for me was Chig. Nobody wanted Chig, I was able to get him for a late third. Fast foward to this season, I just sold him for two seconds(In a deep 14 team 2.0 TE Premium League). I picked up Jailen Nailor before he signed because he was going to be a free agent. Often times with these investments you can get a guy for very very cheap compared to what he could be worth year from now.

This year I'm invested in Mayer and Charbonnet as two guys who I think could greatly increase in value. Which players are you buying in their contract years? Do you have some other good examples of this?

One more thing I forgot to initially mention: the majority of the time you aren't really risking much value, even if the player signs and extension or goes to a similarly bad situation the player won't lose much value if at all from when you bought them.
