Genuinely don't understand where this sentiment is coming from. It is just flatout incorrect and is leading people to believe Tachyon isn't that important and is easily skippable or just a borrow target which is going to lead to them having a way worse experience in GL due to terrible advice. During Grandmasters Tachyon is a top tier speed card and really only outclassed by Kitasan and Maruzensky and that's not even considering the fact that the cards people bring up as "better" are primarily going to only to be summoned for by big spenders.

I feel like a lot of this comes from people just parroting each other or just not even bothering to use the proper outlets to check how a card actually performs training wise like Uma.Guide or gamewith's compare tool and just rely on gametora still which just lays out what they do and not what that actually means in terms of in game performance.

The card during Grandmasters is at worst a top 3 speed card until Jungle Pocket drops. I'm seeing people act like this card just straight up sucks after the scenario when it's better than almost all the SSR speed cards during Grandmasters and that's not even bringing up the fact that it's the best speed card during Grand Live.

Why is this community so ready to act like a top 1 speed card for 4 months who then becomes a top 3 speed card for the next 4 months is somehow a bad investment and not good training wise?

Biko and Bakushin's entire skillset is almost worthless throughout the entire scenario and in exchange you get 1 extra speed per training from Bakushin and Tachyon flatout outclasses Biko. Tosho has two hints that are worth grabbing and a chance for spurt in exchange for 1 speed and a worse time getting her friendship up on top of most players just not having her at MLB since she wasn't that enticing to begin with, Eishin Flash is better for lates just due to her hints and gold but will get completely phased out by Pocket and ECP 4 months after her release for backliners. Sunday drops right before Ramonu so while she is a sidegrade is very much whale only and doesn't have much of a shelf life so her value is very low for non spenders. Taiki will only be better for her mile skills for the mile CMs but even then paces are extremely strong during miles so Tachyon is still going to be used alongside her for plenty of people.

People are severely undervaluing how important SP gain from card matters in the future on top of just getting actual usable skills from them is. The further we get into the game you can't just use pure stat stick cards especially if you're someone who doesn't farm for perfect parents constantly.

Considering that the card is part of the scenario tax banner and the 2nd most important card in the game for 4 months and still very good after everyone that is not a whale should be aiming to MLB this card at minimum even if you don't play paces.

Would have loved medium corners and straights but what can you do.
