Return to steam CATS
it even possible to build a true Ford-class carrier with steam instead of the EMALS? Or to convert them? I was under the impression the whole ship was designed around them being electric.

You guys are maybe going to think I am crazy, but has anyone had a Gen1 Leaf's state of health increase over time?
We bought this 2015 with about 53k miles about 8 months ago, and SOH was just under 75%, like 74.8% or so. We use it for arrands around town, low speed travel mostly, and recharge with the L1 120v charger at home when it needs it. Maybe we baby it? IDK. But I hadn't done a Leafspy check on it in a few months, and now it's measuring 78.3% SOH 😲 Is this normal?
We recently got a used 2015 Leaf S in great shape. We love it so far. But this base/non-navigation radio screen is barely usable as a reversing camera. I'm considering getting an aftermarket head unit as a replacement.
Anyone have any budget-friendly double-DIN aftermarket head unit recommendations that go well in a 2012–2016 Leaf?
I'm also reading I'll need a control harness (like the Axxess AX-NIS32SWC-6V) to retain the steering wheel controls and reversing camera. Anyone have any recommendations for that?
Anything else I'm missing before I tear into the dash? 😂
