I'm currently doing research on both and I've fallen in love with a lot of what Benilde offers, state-of-the-art lab, a curriculum I like better than UST's, and it being one of the best art school in the Philippines
But I can't deny the prestige that a big 4 university has, and that's what's currently making me think twice about enrolling in Benilde, like what if UST has more connections and better job security than Benilde after grad, but I just can't find enough info about ID in UST for me to justify enrolling.
It would be nice to get more insight about the state of ID in UST and answer my unanswered questions to balance it out before I make a decision.
- After graduation will UST have more opportunities in industrial design than Benilde?
- How is the student life in UST? Are there many "artist alley" opportunities
- How are the labs in UST?
- Prestige (UST) or Practicality (Benilde)?
