Is the 4060 toast in my laptop?

I have a 2.5 year old Acer Nitro 17 AN17-41-R7G3 and yesterday I started a game and the FPS was very low. Around 12. Checking the graphics settings shows it's running off the integrated graphics which is called "Optimus" in my settings.

In the Nvidia app and the Nvidia control panel, the choice for Nvidia GPU or Auto are both grayed out. CPU-Z still sees the card. Windows lets me choose it in advanced graphics settings for specific apps but it doesn't make any difference. The factory software for overclocking shows 0% usage for the gpu. I do not run this computer on anything but normal settings almost always.

About 4 months ago, a similar thing happened where it was set to integrated graphics somehow but I was able to just go change it back over with no trouble. Nothing was grayed out. Maybe it's related...

IDK if this means anything but in CPU-Z under graphics I have the choice of Perf Level.

The GFX Core shows 1920.0mMHz for Base but 210.0MHz for Current.

I'm on Windows 11 Home running on wall power @ full battery.

Any suggestions for things to check or try? Should I just order a new computer? Thank you.
