If a Widow chooses to self-poison to hide the Widow-is-in-play-ping and later "holds" the Lil' Monsta, does that mean the storyteller cannot do a Lil' Monsta kill at night as the Lil' Monsta is poisoned?

If that's the case: as soon as a self-poisoning Widow is the only minion alive and therefore has to hold Lil' Monsta, the evil team will never get any more kills at night.

So I suppose in that case the optimal play for a self-poisoning Widow in a Lil' Monsta game is to get themselves killed/executed early in the game?
