Inappropriate situation with son

Hi teachers, I'm hoping to get your opinions and advice regarding a situation regarding my son. I received a phone call from his teacher yesterday and she said that the art teacher told her that my son showed his penis to his friend(girl) in class. I'm absolutely stunned by this because I have hammered into his head from toddler hood that penises are private and art is his favorite class so he has no problems staying on task. When I asked him about it, he said that she showed hers first and asked to see his. But then he said he isn't sure because he's not sure what is "real." I'm so concerned because I feel like this could be an indication of abuse for either child. His teacher said she was shocked that my child did that because he is normally so well behaved but she didn't seem overly concerned and told me to remind him that privates are private. I'm absolutely freaking out. And of course, this child is the daughter of a very well known/respected family in our community. Please help, I'm spiraling and don't know what to do. Thanks so much. I'm not sure if this is important but my child is much smaller and less mature than the kids in his class, does very well academically though.

Looking for ideas on how to save on air conditioning

Hi, I haven't seen this posted recently so in light of the warmer weather (at least where I'm at anyway) coming, I'm hoping to brainstorm some ideas on how to save on cooling my house. Our electric bill is already so expensive and I'm kinda panicking about the summer. The house gets a ton of sun so I've been closing curtains/blinds as the sun moves. I realized it takes a ton of time to actually cool the house down so I turn on the air when it has reached the "desired" temp so it can maintain the temperature instead of working hard to cool it. Anywho, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!

End of the year gifts

Hi, I'm looking at some honest opinions regarding end of the year gifts. I have been receiving emails from some parents about gifts for the classroom and gifts for the teacher. I wasn't aware that this was a thing and I'm going to have a really hard time making this work financially. I'm so stressed. Do teachers expect gifts? Is she going to feel like I'm ungrateful if I don't get her something? Is there something small I could get that would convey my appreciation without breaking the bank? For context, I'm in an extremely wealthy area but we are a very blue collar family and I feel really out of place and embarrassed. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks so much.

So many green onions

Hi, we just harvested nearly 10 pounds of green onions and I'm feeling really overwhelmed. Any ideas what we can do with all these onions? I like them sauteed with eggs, my spinach pie recipe uses a decent amount and I of course will be throwing handfuls in salads and such. Can I freeze them? Any more recipe ideas? Thanks sooooo much my fellow onion lovers!
