I've just finished LN6 today (the best and funniest prologue so far) and I'm so pumped to continue, as this book was a bit light on Jinmao content but there is one thing that Maomao said that confuses me and I hope someone can clear it up without spoiling any further stuff.

Towards the end of the book when Jinshi comes over to talk to Maomao, she says that she doesn't want to be an enemy to Gyokuyou. What does that even mean? Is it about their relationship? How would Maomao being with Jinshi affect Gyokuyou? Other than the fact that Jinshi is still not acknowledged as the emperor's oldest son, but that seems to be a theory that Maomao pushed away the moment she thought of it, so it's not that. Or is there something else I'm completely missing? I've seen some odd comments on tiktok saying bad things about Gyokuyou but I'm trying to avoid that info.

I've just finished reading LN5 and finally getting some new story after binging the anime and the first 4 books, so I'm super excited for that. But does anyone know or is there a general understanding of how much time has passed between the end of LN4 and the beginning of LN5? Because it doesn't seem like that much time, yet when there are mentions of Jinshi coming over to visit Maomao and having "one of his disguises" it makes it seem like has several and has been around plenty times since.

Any answers or headcanons? I hate the idea that I'm missing any Jinmao interactions but also excited about the prospect of him visiting regularly.
