Are we fr?

So I posted on CAI's reddit and they removed it 💀

Added the post itself too. If it was valid for them to remove my post lmk, but I feel like my post was valid. I've even made comments about how they could keep the ads but make it more user friendly again. Like making people watch ads for more swipes or go-ons. If I AM the problem, I'll take it on the chin tbh but I thought this was a valid post to make.

I'm gonna keep saying this on every post I see about it.

I've seen a few posts about making free users watch ads just to chat.

Here's my response to what the mods have to say to those posts.

It may be expensive to run a site, but you can cut costs by getting rid of features your users have actively said they don't want/use. Atp it feels like the quality of the site and app overall has gone down and eventually people will stop using your product altogether.

Limited swipes, some ads and age verification are great ways to keep money coming in and helpful to keep people from becoming addicted to using Character ai, as well as keeping children safe, but it feels like it's gone too far and we, the consumers, aren't being taken into consideration anymore. It's unfair to ask people to pay for something that should be free, especially since not everyone can afford it.

I know there have been things that made the devs have to implement stricter rules and guidelines, but when does it go too far and our enjoyment stops being the priority? If you guys wanna test out new things, cool, but listen when we say we do or don't like it. Please.

And I'll emphasize this again.

It is unfair to tell people to pay to have a good experience when not everyone can afford it.

Thank you, have a good day.

Edit: I'm not saying that everything needs to be free, and I know it's free will to just not use the site, but it's a common issue. If I'm gonna watch ads, I would like the quality to be worth the interruptions. I also think it's just unfair to shove ads up in every possible area like TO CHAT. I already have ads popping up when I'm looking for characters and above my chat at all times, why make it harder to want to use it by making it mandatory for free users to watch an ad to say something? The devs would need to implement less ads, if they didn't keep adding unnecessary and unliked things, and I would like to see the mods and devs do more to take feedback, instead of deleting helpful feedback posts.
