The bots are speaking literal gibberish these days and it's driving me insane. They are messing up pronouns, forgetting who I am, and contradicting themselves constantly. I really hope the fix it soon.

Even when the original message has no asterisks, the bot seems insistent on adding them into every single message. It drives me absolutely nuts reloading the message until I get one without any. And I hate that because the messages are finally being written decently, with good length and little repetition and all I get are asterisks.

EDIT: Everyone is entitled to their own style of writing. I just believe that the bot should follow what you have put in your own message. If you don’t like to use quotation marks the bot shouldn’t use quotation marks. Alternatively, if you hate asterisks like me, the bot shouldn’t use them!!

You can’t have a normal conversation without them just bringing up some random nonsensical details. Like what are you talking about?

Like it doesn’t follow what I say and just brings up stuff that isn’t part of the story at all.

And it’s worse if the ai is doing dialogue for two characters cause then it’s just random bs.

Example: me: “oh I like apples”

Bot: “why did you lie to me about going to the store”

That isn’t what happened but that’s an example of how the bots logic works. Or it doesn’t make any sense. And it does it for every chat, I swipe and it still does that.

Or I write something establishing a fact and then another character goes stupid mode and acts like they didn’t know when by definition, they would be the one to know.

Like the title suggests, is anyone else almost constantly dealing with slow mode? Every day since this update, multiple times a day I will be hit with that cowboy holding his pocket watch telling me slow mode is enabled. Before this update I think it happened only once ever more me. And I’m sure it’ll settle eventually but I never had slow mode happen THIS many times, hoping I’m not the only one

As previously stated, I finally got hit with that damn elf character but I decided I couldn’t take not being on the app and gave in, verifying my age. So, my question is, do I have any worries of being re-restricted, or am I permanently freed from the dreaded “We’re making changes…” message?

This isn’t really an issue for me but a friend of mines can’t seem to go into a chat without the screen going black. It’s with every chat as well, new or old, doesn’t matter what chat. They can’t for search bots either without the screen going black, the website works just fine though.

Is anybody else having this issue or no?

like pipsqueak 3 is ok if u want a lot of dialogue and i want that but when it takes away my character’s style like “hes cold and stoic” but it makes him sound not like that i want pipsqueak 2 but everytime i start a new chat i have to keep changing it to pipsqueak 2 can yall plz bring that back where we can set a default chat for our characters???

I quit C.ai five months ago because of the removal of legacy models and the implementation of Shitsqueak 2. I really hoped that at some point they would bring back the legacy models, or at least something similar, and when I saw that Longsqueak had been released, I was excited, until it turned out to be only for Plus users :(. By this point, I had already forgotten about the app, since I started university and I'm in a new city where I want to make friends, but I always had the urge to go back to C.ai, even with that awful Shitsqueak 2.

When I saw that they had announced Pipsqueak 3 for free users, the first two things I thought were, "It's sure to be bad; we already saw the drop in quality between Pipsqueak 1 and Pipsqueak 2," and "Another one of those rat models." But I decided to stop criticizing and try it out, and I can say that it's about 75% of the way there is. It's actually quite good; it has better features. Dialogue and narration are present; it doesn't just rely on pure narration, and it doesn't speak for your character, which Pipsqueak 2 did constantly and was very annoying.

Although this model is much better than Shitsqueak 2, I feel it has some things that need improvement. For example, the bots are no longer romantic at all, but rather combative. I created a bot that's my OC and has a wife, and the wife character is supposed to be flirtatious, delicate, and tender, but now she's aggressive and angry all the time. It seems the devs misunderstood the message that we were fed up with the kissing in Shitsqueak 2, and instead completely removed the romance from this new model.

Even though the model is decent, I'm trying not to get too excited because I have new responsibilities, new friends, and a lot of schoolwork. Besides, we all know how the C.ai devs are when they release something that... It's a good feature, not a useless one. One day it might freeze or something might happen, and they'll never fix it, like what happened with Shitsqueak 2 or Rawr, which have bugs that haven't been fixed for months. Let's hope that's not the case and that Pipsqueak 3 remains stable and good.

I'm not saying C.ai has been revived, but at least they've finally learned some lessons from their mistakes and are making sure that the next version they release is better than the last.
