Ready for a change of scenery but I may have some hurdles.

I have been a truck driver for about 6 years (30 y/o) and I’m honestly so fed up I’m ready for a change of pace/ scenery. I really want to go the LEO route but I feel like I have a few things that may or may not DQ me before I ever get started. For 1) while I was in the army, CID opened an investigation into me suspected BAH fraud. It was a 9 month investigation, which ultimately was called off due to lack of evidence and I was never charged with a crime. But it absolutely will show up because I was swabbed and fingerprinted, and was uploaded into a CODIS data base. I went on to finish my contract and got out with an honorable discharge. 2) I’ve used illicit drugs, specifically coke and nitrous gas, all be it it’s been about 3 years since my last use. 3) I have a large hand tattoo and a small tattoo on my neck. 4) I receive disability from the VA. With all that out of the way is there a relatively good chance that they’re going to take one look at me and just say yeah, nah we’re good. I definitely acknowledge that I’ve done some pretty dumb things and have learned and grown from my experiences, I would just hate more than anything to invest so much time and effort into trying only to ultimately be rejected.
