Samsung all in one washer dryer combo and Lysol laundry sanitizer.

I have had this machine for 5 months since new with no issue. Then we started using Lysol laundry sanitizer 2 months ago in the fabric softener reservoir. Might be coincidence but im almost certain it deteriorated the rubber gasket on the dispenser (right side of this picture)

The samsung repair man said it's from pulling the dispenser in and out but I really think the Lysol did a number on the rubber. Anyone else see this? There's no bleach and it tells you to use it in the fabric softener reservoir i just think this rubber thing is a horrible design and the Lysol is caustic.
