In malaysia everyone mostly goes for their own race, you rarely see interracial couples. For example 95% of my matches online come from my own race (not that I hate my own race or anything, dont get me wrong). I actually noticed i get more matches from foreigners compared to Malaysians who arent the same race as me which is crazy.
