I heard that shires contras are kinda mid, and feel like a high end Chinese bone instead of a good horn. I just want to know y'all's opinions on them, specifically European tuning, and is it true that the quality of the European and American tunings differ between regions? For example if you're in America the American tuning is going to be of better quality than the European and vice versa?

Is there anywhere in the north Eastern Arkansas area where I could potentially try a contrabass trombone in F?

For some reason I can't find any good conditioned schilke 59's anywhere that are a good price. I bought both my 58 & 60 for 50 bucks, and the cheapest I'm finding a used 59 is 80? What's up with that?
