Lightweaver Mediums

I’m currently working through a re-read of Stormlight Archive, just finished WoR, and I was thinking about the mediums that Lightweavers usually need to do their lightweaving. Shallan has her sketches, and from what I remember the other Lightweavers we meet usually also either sketch or paint or draw or something similar (might be misremembering though).

But from the WoR Chapter 49 epigraph, which is from the in-universe WoR and is also featured on the wiki page for the Lightweavers, the order seems more diverse in their artistic interests. The writers and musicians were especially what caught my eye, and so I was curious about how you all think those mediums would work.

For example: a Lightweaver whose specialty is writing. Would they write out a description of what they’re lightweaving? And in the same way that the details an artist forgets to draw become vague with Lightweaving, would aspects they forget to describe become similarly vague?

Would a thespian Lightweaver adopt a disguise through acting out the part to themselves? Would a musician be able to simply make a piece that channels the vibes they need?

A fun little easter egg in the movie is that the names given to the shadow girls are almost certainly a reference to the 1980’s series of Project A-Ko animated movies!

The series contains a set of characters named A-Ko, B-Ko, and C-Ko. So I think E-Ko and F-Ko are a pretty clear reference.

I can’t find any shared staff between the two projects, so I think this is just a reference to a media one of the writers enjoyed. But if anyone finds a deeper link, let me know!
