Looking to convert a bedroom into a Hobby room
My brother is leaving the nest and taking most of his PC stuff, sim rig, TV, piano, books and collectibles with him.
This leaves his room free for me to use as I please.
My initial suggestion of knocking down the wall between his room and mine to make one big room was shot down.
My plan is to remove the bed (and maybe the desk) and put in a sofa bed (so he still has somewhere to sleep when he visits) and some additional seating if it fits the space.
Planning to get a 2000+ nits 65/75-inch QLED TV as a replacement for the current 55-inch OLED and move my consoles into this room.
I like my own desk and plan to continue using my room for work and sleeping. My room is slightly smaller in width, but the lack of an overhead fan in my brother's room is kind of a deal breaker.
Looking for possible designs, ideas and layouts to help make the best use of this space.
I do have people over regularly to play games, but we have a separate space on the roof for relaxing (if the Delhi weather and pollution permits).
So I don't want to add much more than a small coffee table, just enough for a few glasses and a bowl of snacks.
