Trying to keep it short and simple, but here it is. My wife and I are interested in filing bankruptcy, and have spoken with a few lawyers. However, all of their fees are...hefty, to say the least and extremely difficult to swing at this time and the foreseeable future. I do know that I can file myself, although it would be challenging as I own property I intend to surrender. Has anyone filed by themselves, and if so, how difficult was it and what steps did you have to go through?

I just turned 23 not too long ago, and my wife and I want to know what is our best option to invest in for retirement. For reference, I make around 43k on the low, conservative end of things. We were looking to invest around 1-200 a month until around retirement age, just so we have a nice large nest egg when it finally comes to that time. What are some good suggestions for us to get started, or what does everyone else usually use? TIA​
