Solutions to multi-app poly-repo testing frameworks

Hi all,

I'm a lone QA engineer at a fintech company who essentially makes glorified web dashboards for clients, I've been building a test framework for the past year however there are some major problems which I am unable to come up with solutions for.

Our product is essentially multiple dashboards, one for each client, our repositories are split up like the following

Dashboard 1 Frontend => Backend1
                       Backend2
                       Backend3

Dashboard 2 Frontend => Backend1
                        Backend2

Its essentially this for like 6 different apps, each app has similiar functionality which we configure on a per app basis. For my test framework, I essentially built an npm package using TS and Playwright following a data-driven approach, meaning I wrote generic feature tests as functions and created 'test data' classes/objects which the test framework uses to generate tests based on the data provided. This works well but im really struggling with CI/CD integration.

Currently, the package is used in each frontend repository, but the issue is that this means the tests only really run on frontend changes, which isn't ideal. The other problem is that some of the backends take over an hour to deploy, so it isn't really feasible to deploy on every PR/merge.

I'm also running on limited resources, I have a single VM which I've turned into a bitbucket runner, and im using ReportPortal to collect all results in a single place.

Any advice on how to handle test framework CI/CD integration for an architecture like this?

How does this sound? misfire or normal?

Sorry to those who have seen my other posts but trying to shop around for a 350Z, have come across this one which has a cobra exhaust, but sounds a little rough and bubbly? Not sure if this is normal or not so advice would be useful.

Thanks!

Is it worth importing a 350z to the UK from Japan?

For my fellow UK people, every 350z I come across has major rust issues or has had 10 owners - not to mention the fact that even the ones priced at a "clean" price point e.g. 10k have a range of issues and rust problems, and realistically, once the UK rust cancer starts, it's extremely expensive to fully resolve.

At this point, is it better to just pay a few extra thousand to get one imported from Japan, and then get it professionally undersealed? Have been looking at GT Torque as I've heard only good things from using them to import JDM cars.

What do you all think?

Buying a car that has been under sealed

Looking at a 2008 350z, car has had about 6 owners, 120k miles, and i’m purchasing from a used dealership, however the dealer has told me that the car has been undersealed. There is no rust on any of the arches or rear fenders and theres never been any advisories relating to rust or corrosion on any of its MOTs.

Is this something I should avoid or does it sound legit? They don’t have any paper work for when the car was under sealed. Also worth noting that the MOT doesn’t mention about undersealing either, only advisories are minor things like windshield wipers, tyres etc

EDIT: Have asked for some pictures of the underside and he said he’ll get me them tomorrow, will have a look and see how thick the undercoating is

How much to sort this rust? Is it worth fixing?

Possibly going to buy this 350z but noticed this rust? Is it an issue and if so how much roughly to repair it?
