Just messing around before I build something bigger.

I got a little filter for $1 and turned it into a little grow bed. I put some basil in it from my other tank that was having a hard time staying upright due to wind. Here’s an over view. I think I want to split the infeed for the waterfall to a flood and drain kinda deal the feeds back into the pond

I found a bunch of these old Motorolas on marketplace, is this an okay place to start? I’d like to get my ham license soon, but I’m not sure if that this is where I should start?

Sorry if it’s a dumb post, I don’t have any radio friends so I’m coming to the internet for advice. I found a bunch of these cheap nearby and was thinking about getting one to play with. I was reading the spec sheet and it looks like it would be an alright starter, as it handles a lot. I’m just not sure if interfacing is easy for a newbie, or if I should just stay away in general. Thanks

I need some motivation

TLDR: bought a Baja almost two years ago, get screwed, had engine rebuilt, got screwed and finally got the engine back 5-6 months ago. I feel so defeated by everyone for the last few years making comments about how I need to get it finished etc(am a field mechanic so it’s just really fuckin with me) that now I have the engine back I don’t wanna restart this project. Just looking for motivation.

Now it’s been so long and shits been sitting idk what’s good/bad and I know I need a torque converter cuz your boy here fucked up and left it sunny side up in the rain.

Hey yall, I’m considering adding heavy equipment detailing to my list of services(I’m a mechanic). I was wondering what you guys use for water reclamation if anything. I’m looking into 10x20’ containment pad and I have a small grease trap. Just looking for some input
