Stable company but unstable roles
Three years na ako sa isang shared services sa Makati and wala pa akong reason na maghanap ng ibang company. Satisfied pa naman ako sa salary, benefits, and the people.
I had internal movements/promotion din for the reason of professional developments. Very common ang company na ito sa reorganization. Sa department ko annually siya nangyayari at magugulat ka na lang sa email communications.
Mahirap makita may mga redundant pero they are given months sometimes year naman to seek roles internally. And ang bilis ng movement ng mga tao magugulat ka na lang nasa ibang team na si ganito or na-promote na si ganyan.
My realization is kung ikaw yung employee na risk-taker with exceptional comm skills you’d love to be in this company where reorganization is very often dahil ang daming dumadating na opportunities domestic/abroad. Sisiw lang yan pagakyat mo ng compay ladder dahil possible and madami na ako na witness na 2x promoted within a year.
Kudos to these people na nakakaabot ng 20 years dito despite frequent reorgs!
