I am currently going through psychiatry uk for diagnosis and titration. I was diagnosed with adhd and autism a few months back. I have since found a right to choose provider that takes people on for titration ONLY. I today saw my doctor to get a referral however she said I cannot do that?! I just want to be treated I’m struggling badly and truly don’t understand why I have to wait 13 months when I could wait 4-6 weeks with a different provider. It is now having a detrimental effect on my health both physically and mentally. Has anyone navigated a similar situation and been able to change provider?
