Casino recommendations for inexperienced just looking for fun

My knowledge of common casino games is very limited (don't go over 21, cards in sequential order is good, match symbols in a row, uh... other things?). But I'd like to hit up a casino just for fun. I've never been to one and want to try new things for a good ol' silly time.

I have no idea what would be a good place to check out. I think the big places are around the metro area and not in the heart of the city, but I'm totally okay with going out a little further if it means I'll have fun.

What would y'all recommend I check out for that "authentic" casino experience that likely wouldn't mind someone who has next to no idea what they're doing?

I definitely have zero expectations of walking out with any kind of winnings. (Unless beginner's/dumb luck strikes?)
