Anyone else pre-ordered the gluten-free vegan option and then been served a meal that has gluten and or is non-vegan?
I am not vegan but have food allergies which make GF and vegan markers I use to make sure food is safe for me to eat. After being poisoned on my outbound flight by a FC meal that was not vegan, on return flight (purchased first class seat) I asked when the tray showed up with a roll and tuna appetizer. FA said they are trained to put appetizer and rolls on all trays, even if those items violate the special meal entree criteria. When I pointed out that they negated the entree order, her response was ‘bring your own food’.
